Couldn't have asked for a better place to stumble upon. This empty salt flat in the middle of Utah was truly the most epic space to capture my sister's bridal portraits. Something about the vastness & quitness made this shoot feel out of this world. Love you sis, looking forward to 4.25.25 🤍

Every summer I tend to reflect on the cool bio jobs I've had in the past. The one that stands out the most is always summer of 2021, when I worked as fish tech for the @u.s.forestservice (via the @the_sca) collecting data on wild salmon. I was based in Sitka, Alaska and when working would spent 7-9 days camping at the Redoubt Lake Fish Weir. I've got more videos & photos than you can imagine for my entire time in Alaska, but for the sake of time, please enjoy this quick B-Roll reel of my time at the lake. You just can't beat living off the grid surrounded by wild bears, eagles, salmon, & mountains ❤️

A South African Sunset // October 2, 2023

While visiting my friend in South Africa last year, I had the opportunity to fully immerse myself with the local community. We didn't have many excursions booked, so there was lots of freedom with what we could do. Stumbling across this beach during sunset was truly the most raw experience. The colors, the music, the laughter, the dancing, & dramatic South African landscape. I felt like I was in a movie, observing the world around me, but also feeling like I didn't belong. You could clearly tell my friend and I were tourists, me with my camera clicking, channeling my inner @sam.vox & @webb_norriswebb. Being that we stuck out, I did get a few people who kept asking me to take their photo, I politely refused because when traveling in Cuba I was told to always say no because people will want money in return. Maybe that wasn't true for here, but better to be safe than sorry! I should note this was their spring, and it wasn't the warmest day, and the water was definitely very, very cold. I genuinely didn't expect anyone to be in the water, let alone until the sun completely went down! Till next time, Clifton Beach.
